New Record Amount Raised at 2015 Gala

Thanks to the wonderful generosity by everyone – including all of our guests at the 2015 Gala – Wiggin’ Out was able to raise over $35,500 this year! That is a record for amount raised in a single year with Wiggin’ Out having raised over $110,500 since we got started five years ago.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make this possible! We hope you will make plans to join us for our 2016 Gala!

Lincoln Parish Adopt-A-School Partners with Wiggin’ Out

LP AdoptASchool_4Clr_TransBckgnd

The Adopt-A-School program in Lincoln Parish has been a strong supporter of and advocate for breast cancer awareness over the past several years and has just announced it is now partnering with Wiggin’ Out. This program has raised more than $97,000 toward breast cancer awareness in just seven years.

However, because the Adopt-A-School program is focused on investing in this community through the impact of its partnerships, there was a strong desire to be certain that the efforts would directly benefit the citizens of Lincoln Parish. They simply wanted to keep the money in the community.

The decision to partner with a local initiative like Wiggin’ Out was made this year. Since Wiggin’ Out directly serves the need s of those in Lincoln Parish as they battle breast cancer, the Adopt-A-School program selected Wiggin’ Out to be the recipient of all funds raised during this special emphasis – and the response has been incredible! So many of the Lincoln Parish students, teachers and administrators have first-hand knowledge of what Wiggin’ Out has done previously and continues to do for those in need.

The Adopt-A-School program is delighted to partner with Wiggin’ Out as it continues to empower the students of Lincoln Parish to be agents of change within the community we are all so blessed to be living in.
